The Third Annual Darryl Strawberry Foundation Charity Celebrity Golf Classic!

The third annual Golf Classic was held at the Tam O'Shanter Club _ in Brookville, New York on Thursday, September 24, 2009. This incredible day featured Darryl Strawberry and his celebrity guest friends.

The event included brunch and dinner with a grand auction full of sports memorabilia, personal appearance packages, tickets and passes to specialized events and much more.

All proceeds from this event went directly to funding the day school program for the children at The Center for Autism Education and for the construction of the first new adult day program of it's kind for the adult community. Autism is a disorder that is affecting millions of individuals and families in epidemic proportions. It is one of the least government funded organizations leaving a desperate cry and need for awareness, research, programs and facilities to help the countless families that are in need.
